Disasters

Disasters occur everywhere (earthquakes, floods, etc.) but in the last few decades have arisen disasters that are not only man-made but that were, are, or may have been, caused intentionally (or, rarely, accidentally) by government agencies or elements of a secret government. The Vietnam War was one such disaster. Here is information and commentary upon several others:

• The CIA — one of several government agencies involved in the international trafficking of addictive drugs.

• The Drug War — if drugs were legal certain governments would not be able to fund their covert operations.

• The Waco Massacre — a botched raid by gung-ho BATF agents led to the murder of nearly a hundred innocent people.

• The Oklahoma City Bombing — America's Reichstag Fire.

• The Destruction of TWA Flight 800 — military incompetence?

• The Lockerbie Bombing and the USS Vincennes — one disaster as an act of revenge for another.

• NATO's War — a very preventable disaster; actually, a foreseeable disaster, but the politicians went ahead anyway.

• The Demolition of the World Trade Center — not so much Pearl Harbor as burning of the Reichstag.

• The Iraq War — daily reports.
